The Royal Mail have now announced the franking prices for 2016 / 2017. This means that from the 29th march 2016 you will be using the new franking prices 2016 / 2017. Royal Mail have once again increased the prices for a range of services for both stamp, franking and Mailmark users. However 2016 sees franking machine users, especially Mailmark franking machine users, benefit again from lower franking prices. For the first time ever the postage discount saved for a Mailmark user has increased, making Mailmark more beneficial.
A first class letter sent by standard franking will cost 53p when using the franking prices 2016 / 2017 and a first class letter sent by Mailmark franking will cost 51p when using the franking prices 2016 / 2017.
