The Royal Mail have now announced the franking prices for 2017 / 2018. This means that from the 27th March 2017 you will be using the new franking prices 2017 / 2018. Royal Mail have once again increased the prices for a range of services for both stamp, franking and Mailmark users. However 2017 sees franking machine users, especially Mailmark franking machine users, still benefit further from using lower franking prices. The postage discount saved for a Mailmark user has remained roughly the same, making Mailmark more beneficial.
A first class letter sent by standard franking will cost 57p when using the franking prices 2017 / 2018 and a first class letter sent by Mailmark franking will cost 55p when using the franking prices 2017 / 2018.
