The Royal Mail have announced a October stamp postage rates update that will be in effect from 7th October 2024. This price update sees Mailmark franking machine users benefit even further with postage savings when compared to stamps.

The Royal Mail, committed to maintaining its unique universal service that delivers to all UK postcodes six days a week, is set to adjust its prices in October for stamp users only, meaning business users with a franking machine will see greater savings. This adjustment is necessary for Royal Mail to continue offering reliable delivery services while staying financially viable.
The Royal Mail October stamp price change 2024 means that Mailmark franking machine users will be able to save even more when sending their mail. For example a huge 39p can be saved for every 1st class standard letter sent when compared to stamps. As well as this, the postage discount between stamps and Mailmark remains 5p for sending second class letters.
Some of the key highlights of the October 2024 stamp prices are:

✅ 50p SAVING for all 1st Class Small Parcels processed through your franking machine vs stamps

The latest Royal Mail Mailmark technology is on a different level to traditional franking and comes with further franking benefits, including bigger postage savings. 2024 is the second year that the traditional crown and die franking machines cannot be used, as they are now obsolete.
