Starting from today, Monday 25th March 2019, all standard and Mailmark franking machine users should be using the new Royal Mail postage rates 2019. If you have not updated your franking machine or postal scales then please contact your franking machine supplier immediately as the new Royal Mail 2019 rates should now be installed on your franking machine.
Some of the highlights are, 2nd class standard letters are now 6p cheaper using Mailmark vs. standard franking which is an increase from 5p. Also, 1st class standard letters remain 3p using Mailmark vs. standard franking having been only 1p cheaper over the past few years. This shows Royal Mails commitment to Mailmark and the benefits it brings to both customers and Royal Mail alike.
